Hello everyone!
I have been busy visiting my hometown and traveling in Beijing in the last couple of weeks while Chris was visiting his parents in US. Being a couple from the opposite sides of the world is challenging, which means one of us will be far away from family. Having separate vacations with each our families at the same time turns out is a pretty good idea. We both had a wonderful time with our family and friends while still being able to talk on line everyday.
The weather is becoming warmer and warmer everyday since we got back from our vacations. Today is a wonderful day for getting out and walking around in the city. We went to Lujiazui, which is the financial area of Shanghai, and enjoyed our lunch in a nice little Chongqing style restaurant. I was wearing my light blue cardigan with a dress underneath. I usually wear pumps or flats to go with this outfit, but I decided to go with casual today, and paired it with my newly purchased white sneakers from Unnown. The sneakers are made of leather, which makes them easy to clean. The price is slightly over $100, which is decent since they are fashionable and comfortable. They have become my everyday wear now since they are versatile - I just hope they don't get dirty too quick in China!
