Today I would like to share a new item to my collection of summer sandals - Bailey Multi-strap from Tory Burch. I have been looking for comfortable and causal brown sandals that are good for everyday to replace my J Crew Evie Midheel Sandals. When I saw the Bailey Multi-strap wedge sandals in Nordstrom Rack store last Sunday, I knew immediately I found the right ones. I usually wear size 6 from Tory Burch, so I was thrilled when I found out they were the right size and fit perfectly.
The sandals are designed beautifully and are great quality. The brown suede upper and platform matched well with the jute wrapped wedge. The side cutout detail and the ankle strap with buckle closure sparkled with extra elegance. I was amazed at how chic and comfortable they were on my feet when I tried them on. My legs look longer in them since the side ankle strap hit right at my ankle while the front part slightly lower. I have slightly wider feet, so sometimes I worry multi-strap upper might make my feet even wider; However, these sandals make my feet look slimmer. With 4 inch heels, I felt so much taller, but they are still very comfortable to walk around because of the platform and wedge design. The footbed is also lightly padded and soft, which also made them extra comfortable to walk around.
These sandals are very versatile and go with most of the outfits in my wardrobe. They can be used for dressing up for a party or walking around on a causal day. As you can see from my last blog, I wore them with a tunic and they look great together. You can also wear them with jeans, shorts, dresses and skirts. They are the perfect brown sandals for me, especially since I'm now living in Houston and the summers are usually longer.
I got a great deal on them as well since Nordstrom Rack had an extra 25% off on red-marked clearance items, so I only paid $89 (before tax). I bought them in store without hesitation, and they are currently sold out in stores and on most of the websites I usually shop at. I've searched online and found them on 6pm with a great range of sizes to choose from. I also found out they have banana leaf color available from Amazon and Nordstrom Rack ($119).
