Rebecca Minkoff Mab Tote Mini Cross Body review

I wasn’t a big fan of Rebecca Minkoff until I saw their Mab Tote Mini Cross Body. I have been looking for a cute, small, and fashionable everyday purse to replace my Kate Spade West Valley Janelle purse, and the Mab Tote Mini is a great alternative.

The purse comes in a different range of colors - from dull colors like Honey Dew, Bleached Blue, to some bright ones such as Dragon Fruit, and Zest. They also carry several mixed color ones: Jungle Print, Floral/gold, yellow/pink, and Moon/White Polka-a-Dot. The Limeade and Flamingo ones caught my eyes first due to their brightness and summer look and the one in Black seems great for all seasons. However, I already have my everyday black purse (old post), so I decided to go with a light color that would be great for everyday carrying.

The color I decided on was Guava. It’s a light/pale pink color which is great for all seasons. It’s a mini bag but it’s surprisingly roomy on the interior and can carry my everyday pieces: a wallet, my iPhone, keys, sunglasses with case, and umbrella if necessary.  The interior zipped pocket can be used for holding metro card and work ID, while the exterior zippered pocket is great for holding a credit card and important small stuff. You can also put your metro card and work ID there, but since every time you need to unzip the pocket (a bit hard to reach inside) first, it’s not convenient to use. There is also a strap that can be clipped on top keeps everything safe.

It’s a versatile purse that can go with my entire wardrobe - dresses, skirts, shorts, and jeans. I've worn it during different seasons, and it always looks great. As you can see from my recent blog, I've worn it with a red color skirt. It is also great for traveling, as it’s easy to carry around, either with the rolled strap or with the adjustable shoulder strap.

I am so happy I got the Mab Tote Mini! It is the perfect size, cute, and can be used for so many different occasions. I'm now considering buying this purse in a different color, especially if they come in mint or light blue in the future.
