Tory Burch Minnie travel ballet flats review

Hello everyone!

I've always been looking for walkable and fashionable flats that are good year round so I can stay comfortable while walking in the city. After looking around on a lot of different websites, I finally decided to try Minnie travel ballet Flats from Tory Burch. Actually I tried them on in store and fell in love with them immediately. However the orange color I liked ran out of my size.

I got those flats in black color from my husband last year as a birthday gift. He told me that he had been keeping his eyes on the flats for a while and decided to purchase them in black, one of the new colors that they started to carry (before they had the black one with golden color metal logo). I was so excited when I saw them packed so nicely in the box, and they are one of favorites now in my wardrobe. They are extremely comfortable. I couldn’t be more thankful for my husband as he always knows what I want and surprises me.

I have to say these flats are really beautiful, chic looking and in great quality. Crafted in super soft napa leather, they have a cushioned leather insole padded with soft, breathable foam. The slip-resistant split rubber sole made them perfectly walkable and foldable and the elasticized back made them extra comfortable to walk in without worrying about slipping off. I walked around in these sandals for about half day the first time I tried them on and found them very comfortable to walk in. However, the elasticized back got a bit tight after a while so the back of my feet started getting sore. To break in them, I wore tights with them and they got very comfortable after a few times, so I have no problem wearing them walking around in the city for hours now.

Another thing I really like is how lightweight and packable they are, which make them easy to travel with. As you can see from my previous blog, I have wore them during my Hong Kong trip to explore the city in them for a whole day. I have to say they were really great for travel. But after walking around for a whole day, my feet started swelling so the fit was bit tight at the end of day.

The black color is very easy to go with anything in my wardrobe and I’ve worn them with a lot of different outfits including dresses, skirts, casual shorts and jeans and they all turn out to be fashionable and stylish.

I'm usually between a 5.5 and 6, and these flats in a size 6 fit perfectly on me.
